Capture and Restore Your Scene Snapshots

Saving scene snapshots lets you capture the exact state of your 3D workspace β€” so you can revisit, share, or compare scenes later without manually re-adjusting anything.

This guide walks you through how to use the Scene Snapshot Tool to save, manage, and share your views.

🟦 What Scene Snapshots Do

Each snapshot saves:

Snapshots act as frozen states of your workspace β€” you can jump back to any saved view instantly or share it with your team.

πŸͺ„ Creating a Scene Snapshot

  1. Adjust your scene

Set up your 3D viewer exactly how you want it β€” camera angle, visibility, color mode, slices, etc.

  2. Click the Snapshot icon πŸ–ΌοΈ

On the left sidebar, open the Scene Snapshots panel and click βž• New Snapshot.

  3. Name your snapshot

By default, snapshots are β€œUntitled.” Click the three-dot menu (β‹―) next to it β†’ Rename to give it a meaningful name.

  4. Preview saved state
