When you're uploading more than a few (3) files, you can group them into a folder and give the group a name (e.g. "North site – March visit").
For a photo to appear at the right place in your project, it needs to contain location information (latitude and longitude) in its metadata. Most phones and drones save this automatically when GPS is on — you usually don't have to do anything.
If your file is a 360° / equirectangular panorama, we detect that automatically and show it with an Orbit icon — so you can tell at a glance which files are panoramas vs. regular photos. Regular photos get the Image icon.
