You can turn on and view the Base Map for georeferenced 3D files.

Confirm that the point cloud is georeferenced.

1. If a point cloud is georeferenced, the coordinate system will appear at the bottom of the viewer and display the longitude and latitude information.

1. The Base Map icon will also appear at the bottom left corner of the viewer. Users can select either ‘Street’ or ‘Satellite’ base map options.

Turn on/off Base Map

1. To turn the Base Map on, either toggle the Base Map button on, which will default to the ‘Street’ map, or left click on the desired ‘Street’ or ‘Satellite’ map.
2. To turn the Base Map off, toggle the Base Map button off or click on the Base Map icon.

Adjust the Base Map

1. If the point cloud is not properly aligned with the underlying Base Map, navigate to ‘Settings’ and use the ‘Adjust Map Height’ slider to align the point cloud with the Base Map.
