  1. Open the desired file(s). You will be able to upload up to ten files at a time. The ‘Uploads’ toast will appear and show the upload percentage. It is also possible to pause or end the upload from within the toast. Do not close the browser window during this time.

  1. After the file has finished uploading, the uploaded file will immediately appear in your “Files” page. Files will not be immediately accessible since the file still needs to be processed by our servers. The processing time depends on the size of the files. Feel free to navigate away from the browser during this time while the file completes processing.

  1. In the event a file upload is unsuccessful, or if processing fails, the ‘Uploads’ toast will display an error. The most likely reasons for a file failing to upload or process is:
    1. Internet speed is too slow and the connection times out.
    2. The file type is unsupported or corrupt.
    3. The processing que on the cloud is experiencing abnormally busy traffic and times out.
  2. Please reach out to us at [email protected] if your file fails to upload.

Supported 3D File Formats

Stitch3D currently supports the LAS, LAZ, E57, and PLY point cloud file formats.
